My name is Camille, the hands and heart behind every MarettaMade dress. I am so glad you are here! 

In the rare quiet moments of my early years of motherhood between naps, nursing babies, and keeping a home, I slowly fell in love with sewing. I quickly learned that there is a certain satisfaction in creating a garment from start to finish that I can't quite describe. I feel as if this is in danger of becoming a lost art in a culture so obsessed with fast, cheap, & convenient. Handmade garments are anything but that. The dream behind MarettaMade is to use my delight for sewing to inspire you to keep the admiration for slower fashion & beautiful handmade garments alive for years to come.

Each MarettaMade garment you receive is thoughtfully designed & sewn by me at my dining room table in the slivers of time I find throughout my days as a stay at home mother to my two dear children and wife to my dear husband. It makes me so giddy to know that the dresses I create will soon be in your hands to wear, love, & then pass down one day!
